The type of motors that are accepted are those that are in compliance with the laws which define them as cycles and not motorbikes, that is with a 250 watt motor and battery (that can be of 300 kwh or 400 kwh) the only difference between them being the duration of the battery.\u00a0 E-bike models that are motorized to more than 250 watts are not permitted\u00a0 (directive of approval of\u00a0 2002\/24\/CE).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Recharging or replacing the battery during the race is permitted, although it is entirely the responsibility of the participants.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Anyone who wants to participate using an e-bike will not be able to participate in any classification or alter in any way the regular\u00a0 competitive performance of the Granfondo Sanremo-Sanremo.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Art. 2 \u2013 LICENSE\/ SPORTS MEMBERSHIP CARD<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>The possession of a valid membership card is an obligatory requisite.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Foreign cyclists are admitted only if in possession of a licence recognized by UCI.<\/p>\n<p>All athletes must forward a scan of their valid sport licence only via the form available on our online registration system.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h4><strong>Art. 2a \u2013 DAY MEMBERSHIP CARD <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Italian and foreign cyclists who are not in possession of a membership card or license issued by one of the organizations indicated above must purchase a license\/day membership card issued by the ACSI.<\/p>\n<p>Day membership card must be purchased at the moment of registration through our online registrations system.<\/p>\n<p>It is obligatory to forward a scan of your medical certificate for competitive sports (issued not more than 6 months before the event) to the registrations secretariat via the online form available on our online registration system by 31 January.<\/p>\n<p>It is obligatory to show the original copy of your competitive sports medical certificate on the day before the race.<\/p>\n<p>If these requirements are not satisfied it will not be possible in any way to take part in the race.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Art. 3 \u2013 REGISTRATION<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Registration for the event must be carried out through the <a href=\"https:\/\/booking.classicissima.it\/index.php?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For organizational reasons no other form of registration is permitted.<\/p>\n<p>Direct registration is possible on the day before the race at the <strong>Event Village:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Saturday 21 March, from 10:00 a.m to 12.30 p.m and from 14:30 a.m to 18.00 p.m<\/li>\n<li>Sunday 22 March, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Art. 4 \u2013 DEADLINES FOR REGISTRATION <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The deadline for online registrations is on Wednesday preceding the date of the race.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for the purchase of the ACSI day membership card is on Wednesday preceding the date of the race.<\/p>\n<p>Direct registrations on the spot are allowed on the day before the race (Saturday).<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Art. 5 \u2013 COST OF PARTICIPATION<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The cost of registration is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u20ac 50.00 for registration carried out online by 31\/01<\/li>\n<li>\u20ac 60.00 for registration carried out online by 17\/03<\/li>\n<li>\u20ac 70.00 for registrations on the spot.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The forms of payment that will be accepted are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Visa or Mastercard credit cards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Art. 6 \u2013 GOODS AND SERVICES COVERED BY THE REGISTRATION FEE <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The cost of registration includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>competition number,<\/li>\n<li>refreshments,<\/li>\n<li>gifts,<\/li>\n<li>recovery in case of abandonment of the race,<\/li>\n<li>shower (Event Village)<\/li>\n<li>pasta party (Event Village)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The race pack described in the regulations is only guaranteed for the first 700 who register. The organization will do its best for those who register at the last minute, but they can&#8217;t guarantee that products will be available.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Art. 7 \u2013 AGE LIMITS<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The event is open to cyclists, both men and women, from 18 to 70 years of age, as of the day before the race, in compliance with membership for the current year.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Art. 8 \u2013 REGULATIONS<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>By signing the registration form, you declare that you have read and approved these regulations, that you are in good physical condition, and that you are either in possession of a card intended for participation in competitive sports issued after attending a medical appointment conducted by a sports physician, or that you are in possession of a competitive sports medical certificate in compliance with registration for a day membership card.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Art. 9 \u2013 CANCELLATION OF PARTICIPATION<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The registration fee is strictly personal and it is in no case reimbursable whether it is used or not.<\/p>\n<p>Reimbursement is not allowed in case you miss the race, nor are substitutions of another athlete allowed.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Art. 10 \u2013STARTING GRID<br \/><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>The E-bike Trophy participants must start from the part of the grid that is reserved for them in the queue of participants in the Granfondo Sanremo-Sanremo. <\/strong>Participants who start in one of the preceding grids reserved for the participants of the Granfondo, will be disqualified.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Art. 11 \u2013 VERIFICATION<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Verification of licenses, distribution of race numbers and the materials supplied will take place at the VILLA ORMOND Corso Cavallotti 113, San Remo, at the following times:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Saturday 21 March, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Sunday 22 March, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Failure to have the relevant membership card checked at the time of registration, or failure to submit the medical certificate for competitive sports required for registration with a day card, will result in automatic exclusion from the event.<\/p>\n<p>Everyone who has registered should go to the Race Bib Collection Desk to find their race bib number and to consult the start list.<\/p>\n<h4>\u00a0<\/h4>\n<h4><strong>Art. 12 \u2013 MEETING<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The meeting is set for <strong>Sunday 22 March at 9:00 a.m. in Lungomare Salvo d&#8217;Acquisto of San Remo<\/strong>, where electronic checking of the participants will take place.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Art. 13 \u2013 START<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>The start is set for<\/strong> <strong>10:00 a.m. in Lungomare Salvo d&#8217;Acquisto in San Remo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Art. 14 \u2013 ELECTRONIC CONTROLS<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>There will be an electronic control of the Start. Participants who do not take part in the control of the Start will be automatically excluded from the rankings.<\/p>\n<p>Electronic controls are provided on the climbs of the course.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Art. 15 \u2013 TIMING: WINNING TIME REGULATION CHIP<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>As it is an amateur Granfondo the time chip is optional.<\/p>\n<p>The timing service will be provided by Winning Time. Every athlete must be supplied with their own Yellow Winning Time Personal Chip in order to be listed in the table of final times and receive the certificate of participation.<\/p>\n<p>The owners of Yellow Winning Time Personal Chips ARE OBLIGED TO enable them from 1 January on the www.winningtime.it website in the manner indicated, or else at the race at the WINNING TIME STAND.<\/p>\n<p>Athletes not already in possession of chips may purchase them directly for the price of 15.00 euros directly from the WINNING TIME STAND in the area where race packages are being distributed.<\/p>\n<p>Athletes can also rent a daily chip valid EXCLUSIVELY for the event upon payment of a deposit of 10.00 euros (with refund of 5.00 euros upon return of the chip). The yellow chips and those that have been rented must be placed on the release of the front wheel; incorrect placement will not guarantee accurate inclusion in the table of final times.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Art. 16 \u2013 HELMET<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>It is mandatory to use and wear an approved rigid helmet even on the climbs: whoever is caught without a helmet will be automatically excluded from the final rankings.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Art. 17 \u2013 ACCOMPANYING VEHICLES<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>It is not permitted for accompanying vehicles to follow the participants; this will result in disqualification of the athlete in question.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Art. 18 \u2013 ROAD TRAFFIC<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>All the roads on the course of the event are OPEN to traffic.<br \/>It is obligatory to respect and comply with the Highway Code.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Art. 19 \u2013 RECOVERY VAN<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>A van will be provided for the recovery of participants and their bicycles who abandon the race exclusively for reasons of mechanical breakdowns.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I<strong>n no case can assistance be asked from the organization if a participant has difficulty following the route because the battery of their e-bike has run out. In this case the participant must be responsible for their own return and any expense this entails.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Art. 20 \u2013 ARRIVAL<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The arrival will take place in <strong>Poggio of San Remo between 12:30 pm -1:30 pm<\/strong>; those who arrive after this time will not be entered in the rankings. Following will be the transfer (with one\u2019s own means of transport) to the <strong>VILLA ORMOND Corso Cavallotti 113<\/strong> for a shower, the pasta party and prize giving (15:30).<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Art. 21 \u2013<\/strong> <b>ORDER OF ARRIVAL<\/b><\/h4>\n<p>After crossing the finish line, participants must go to the control post to return the Chip.<\/p>\n<h4>\u00a0<\/h4>\n<h4><strong>Art. 22 \u2013<\/strong> <b>RANKING<\/b><\/h4>\n<p>E-Bike Trophy is a cyclosportive amateur race without any rankings.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Art. 23 \u2013<\/strong> <b>COMPLAINTS<\/b><\/h4>\n<p>Any complaints must be addressed to the race jury according to the terms of the regulations and accompanied by the prescribed fees set down in the regulations. Collective reports or complaints, signed by more than one person, will not be accepted.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Art. 24 \u2013 <\/strong><b>PRIZE-GIVING<\/b><\/h4>\n<p>There will be no prize-giving since it is a non competitive amateur Granfondo.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Art. 25 \u2013 <\/strong><b>DISQUALIFICATION<\/b><\/h4>\n<p>The following types of behaviour will result in disqualification of the competitor:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>participating with the race number of a different lane<\/li>\n<li>throwing rubbish along the way of the course<\/li>\n<li>not observing the Highway Code<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>\u00a0<\/h4>\n<h4><strong>Art. 25 \u2013 ACCEPTANCE OF THE REGULATIONS<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>By signing the reservation form (even online) the competitor states that he is in possession of medical certification according to the D.M of 18\/02\/02, has a valid membership card and third-party insurance, and has accepted the current regulations.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Art. 26a &#8211; PRIVACY<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>By signing the online registration form, the participant gives his consent, in compliance with current legislation, to the processing of his personal data for the purposes of the management of the registration and services connected to it such as the official photography service, the timing, the rankings, as well as the occasional communication of news related to the event, the area where it is being held, and other similar events.<\/p>\n<p>By purchasing the ACSI day membership card the participant gives his consent, in compliance with current legislation, to the processing of his &#8222;particular and sensitive&#8220; personal data, in particular in relation to the obligation to transmit his competitive sports medical certificate to the organization.<\/p>\n<p>Personal data will be processed according to the regulations in force by the organizing company, by ACSI, by the company that follows the registration office, by the company following the timing and ranking service, and by the official photographers of the event.<\/p>\n<p>By registering for the event the athlete expressly authorizes the organization, together with sponsors and media partners, to acquire the right to use still or moving images in which they may appear, in all media, including promotional material and\/or advertising, throughout the world and for the maximum time required by law, by the regulations and treaties in force, including any extension that may be made to the expected period.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Art. 26 \u00a0ter &#8211;\u00a0 IMAGE RIGHTS<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>With the registration to the race, the athlete expressly authorizes the Organization, along with sponsors and media partners, with the acquisition of the right to use still or motion images in which the participant might appear, in all media including promotional and\/or advertising material all over the world and for the maximum time allowed by law, the regulations and treaties in force, including any extension that may be made to the planned period<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4>\u00a0<\/h4>\n<h4><strong>Art. 27 \u2013 CHANGES TO THE REGULATIONS <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The organization reserves the right to make changes in the regulations. The www.classicissima.it website will be considered the official organ of the event. All official communications will be made via the website.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Art. 28 \u2013 RESPONSIBILITY<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The Promotor declines any responsibility for any accident or damages that may affect participants or third parties, or things that happen before, during or after the holding of the event, and it reserves the right to accept registrations at its sole discretion.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Art. 29 \u2013 HIGHWAY CODE<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Every participant is considered to be on a personal excursion: it is obligatory to comply with the provisions of the Highway Code and traffic rules. The road will not be protected.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Art. 30 &#8211; FORCE MAJEURE<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>If the race is cancelled because of force majeure, for example in the case of a heavy rain alert resulting from adverse weather conditions, the registration fee will not be reimbursed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The regulations translated into other languages are offered as an act of courtesy.
