For over a century, during the month of March, the Granfondo San Remo – San Remo la “Classicissima” bicycle race that opens the season of the great classic competitions has been held in this beautiful locale.<\/p>\n

Participating in the Granfondo San Remo – San Remo la “Classicissima” race you will have the chance to challenge yourselves on the roads of the longest line race in the World, but if you wish, you can also take advantage of the event to have a sporting vacation in San Remo.<\/p>\n

The brand new\u00a0Bicycle Path<\/strong> that goes along the sea following the course of the old train track will allow you to reach a unique environmental area with unspoilt inland areas<\/strong> dotted with lovely medieval villages<\/strong>, where you can discover fascinating and challenging routes.<\/p>\n

We have developed an ad hoc program for the participants of the Granfondo San Remo-San Remo:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wednesday 25 March 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

9:30 Circuit of flowers<\/strong>, inland stage of the Maritime Alps of the 84th Giro d\u2019Italia of 2001.
about 130 km in total\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

The course touches the Via Aurelia, crossing Ospedaletti, Bordighera, Vallecrosia, and Camporosso Mare, continuing up to Nervia where it enters the Val Nervia, \u00a0following on to Isolabona; then it turns towards Apricale and climbs up to Baiardo (900 m asl, the first Gran Premio of the Mountain), proceeding to the Passo Ghimberga (898 m asl), Ceriana \u00a0and the \u00a0Poggio di Sanremo, heading in reverse; then it goes up to the valle Argentina, with a route towards Taggia, Badalucco, and Molini di Triora to climb the pass at Langan (1093 m asl) and approaches Monte Ceppo (1504 m asl, second Gran Premio of the Mountain); finally the course makes a second run on the Ghimbegna \u00a0and returns in the direction of San Remo.<\/em><\/p>\n
